250 Entries for the 35 Buzetski Dani<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n
The organizer, AK Buzet has received 250 entries from 13 countries for this year’s event. To top it all up, the number of Formula cars has never been this high \u2013 31 of them! It’s worth remembering that this event has been growing steadily for 35 years now and this year’s birthday stresses one of the most fantastic of stories written in Croatian motor sport. This is one of the best and most visited hill climb even in region. Since 2003 the home of the European Hill Climb Championship, it is the place where top European drivers come to race and show their best skills. This year is no exception \u2013 in Category II we will see Christian Merli, the runner up to the best of the best, Simone Faggioli who has secured his golden position two weeks ago in Ilirska Bistrica, Slovenia. <\/span><\/p>\n On the other hand, in Category I things have not been resolved yet. Nikola Miljkovi\u0107 of Serbia has 226 points and will do his best to keep the first position and become Champion against the Austrian Christian Schweiger with 219 points. A hot weekend beckons and we do believe the expected 15 000 spectators will enjoy the unfolding of the Championship. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n In the Croatian championship after 6 out of 9 races the first position is held by the Hungarian Croat Istvan Kavecz with 48 points. Runners up are Bojan Jurani\u0107 (AK Petar Klepac) Mario Jura\u0161i\u0107 (AK Ri Autosport). \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Safety First<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n The Organiser is as ever extremely adamant to keep safety along the track first.
